Today, life seems to go by a mile a minute. We’re either busy with work, families, or some other obligation and fail to take a moment to breathe and enjoy life. It hasn’t always been so. I remember a time even in my life where family time was more than sitting in front of a television shop. Shoot, cell phones weren’t even though of, yet we always took the time to slow down and embrace life. That’s what this blog will be about.

There may be recipes from my youth, or stories that show just how simpler life was back then. We may even learn a thing or two about history as we go along. I invite you to read each of our posts and, if you like it, share it with your friends. Let’s reminisce about a time past.
