Another family favorite of ours is my sister’s cheese ball. Not that her’s was any different than anybody elses but it was always one of the most sought-after parts of our Holiday dinners. With Thanksgiving less than a week away, maybe your family will love it as much as ours did.
- 28 oz -Cream Cheese
- 1 small can of crushed pineapple (Drain before adding into mixture)
- 1-Tbsp of minced onions
- 2-Tbsp of minced green pepper
- 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
Drain the pineapple. Mix all ingredients, with the exception of the pecans, into a large bowl. Be sure to mix the ingredients enough so they are evenly spread throughout the ball. Form the mixture into a ball. Roll the ball in the pecans and then chill for at least 2 hours. Serve with your favorite crackers and meat.
