Here’s another family favorite of my. My sister, Linda, was one of the best cooks I knew. She could whip together a meal that would leave your mouth in awe at the pure taste of the food. This Texas Hash was one of her premier dishes. You can see by the picture how much use this old recipe has endured. I hope your family can get as much enjoyment out of it as mine has.

Ingredients

1 lb-Ground Beef

3-Bell Peppers

3-4-Large Onions (depending on preference and size)

1/4 cup of Rice

1-2 Teaspoon of Chili Powder (depending on taste preference)

1-can of Dried Tomatoes

Directions

Preheat Oven to 350°

Chop the peppers and onions into small pieces then add to a skillet. Fry until they have a glass-like look.

Brown the Ground beef

Once the meat is cooked and drained, add in the remaining ingredients and put everything into a pan.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes. Ensure the rice is fully cooked before taking out.
